Metaltek / SCOTT at the Tour Series
This week saw the start of the Halfords Tour Series. The town centre based criterium series takes place throughout May and June across the country and is televised on ITV4. USE sponsored team Metaltek / SCOTT are one of the featured teams. The first round saw success for the team with Marcel Six winning the hot spot sprints competition. The USE sponsored Metaltek/SCOTT has continued its promising early season form with a top ten finish in the Premier Calender Series. The Tour of the Reservoir race in Northumberland took place under sunny spring skies. The team were present in all the early breakaways but ultimately the race came back together for the 350m uphill finish. Marcel Six managed to sprint to 7th position, mixing it up with the top UCI teams.
